ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE - ONLY BELIEVE!!! THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH - HEALING, LIFE, STRENGTH, HO
DO YOU KNOW it is God's will that all true believers have unwavering, unshakeable, and absolute faith in Him. We live in a world today where faith as once practiced in the Old and New Testament, and where such FAITH_BASED prayers were answered and enemies were defeated, is practically non-existent!
THE SCRIPTURES are being fulfilled - right before our eyes: LUKE 18:8 states: "...Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?"
TODAY, so much has changed and with that CHANGE has come WIDESPREAD DOUBT! - that DOUBT has crept into the church, and taken up residence on the very pulpit itself. AND YOU KNOW - If its in the pulpit, you can be sure its in the CONGREGATION!
WHEN we consider that Jesus Christ is the GREAT PHYSICIAN, the HEALER, the REPAIRER of BROKEN LIVES and HOMES, the CREATOR of the WORLD on which we live, the FORGIVER of SINS and He who rose BODILY from the dead.
WHEN we see how He healed men, women and children, raising many of them from the dead and also redeemed them from the grave, we NEED to revisit OUR UNDERSTANDING of what HAVING FAITH really MEANS.
THIS is not a dialogue, but a SUBMISSION of the facts - IT IS A FACT THAT JESUS CHRIST FORGIVES SINS, PHYSICALLY HEALS OUR BODIES, REDEEMS US FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH, AND IS COMING BACK AGAIN FOR A CLEAN CHURCH - but we must believe it for it be true for us.
HEBREWS 11:6 States: "But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please HIM (WHAT???): for he that cometh to God MUST BELIEVE that HE is (that's RIGHT! - HE IS NOT SOMETHING CONJURED BY MEN - BUT IS THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS YOUR EYES CAN SEE!), and that HE is a REWARDER (Yes - there are REAL-LIFE BENEFITS OF BELIEVING GOD"S WORD!) of them that diligently seek HIM."
HERE IS A frightening prospect that awaits those who have NO FAITH and don't really believe the word of God as it is written!! - It is this: "IF WE HAVE FAILED TO BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST CAN HEAL OUR BODIES, THEN HOW DO WE KNOW HE HAS HEALED OUR SOULS FROM SIN?
JESUS made something very clear in Matthew 9: 1-6, where He proved HE COULD FORGIVE SINS (i.e., SOMETHING MEN COULD NOT SEE WITH THEIR ACTUAL EYES) by healing the man sick of the PALSY (SOMETHING MEN COULD SEE WITH THEIR ACTUAL EYES and THEREFORE COULD NOT DENY).
THIS is the challenge Christians have today - when they seek to declare themselves children of God - and so have a FORM OF GODLINESS - but in WORKS - DENY THE POWER THEREOF (or they deny the TRUE POWER THAT COMES WITH REALLY KNOWING WHO THE LORD REALLY IS...).
HERE IS A SHORT STORY:
"1. And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. 2. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. 3. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. 4. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? 5. FOR WHETHER [i.e., WHICH OF THESE] IS EASIER, TO SAY, [THY SINS BE FORGIVEN THEE]; or to say, [ARISE, AND WALK]?"
JESUS wanted to prove that He had the power to FORGIVE SINS (they could not PHYSICALLY see whether this had been done) by demonstrating His power to HEAL THE BODY (the healing of the body was something they COULD PHYSICALLY see and therefore they could not deny His power to do so).
This is why He then went onto say:
6. "But that YE MAY KNOW that the Son of man HATH POWER ON EARTH TO FORGIVE SINS."
HALLELUJAH! GLORY TO GOD!
RIGHT NOW YOU SHOULD BE REJOICING!!! WE HAVE BEEN TOLD WITHOUT DOUBT!!! - THAT JESUS CAN HEAL THE BODY [AND] THE SOUL!!!! - IF YOU THEREFORE BELIEVE ONE - YOU [MUST] ALSO BELIEVE THE OTHER!!!
AND WHY TAKE ONE - AND NOT THE OTHER - AND SO LIVE BELOW YOUR BLESSING???
Jesus went on to say: "...(then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. 7. And HE AROSE [without HESITATION!!!], and departed to his house. 8. But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men."
THOSE OF YOU WHO BELIEVE IT: SHOUT "GLORY TO GOD!!!" - RIGHT NOW - SHOUT "GLORIFY TO GOD!!!" AS YOU TAKE HIM AT HIS WORD!!!
Now let us FAST FORWARD to the 21st Century - TODAY - and ask ourselves - WHAT HAS CHANGED?
WHY DON'T BELIEVERS TODAY RECEIVE THE SAME HEALING FROM GOD THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST?
WHY HAVE CHRISTIANS DEFAULTED TO THE SAME POSITIONS AS THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE THE LORD? They have nominated doctors as the new intermediary between GOD and MAN - You will hear them say - I AM TRUSTING GOD FOR MY DOCTOR - WHY??? IS HE HAVING AN. OPERATION??? WHEN WHAT THEY SHOULD SAY IS:
"I AM TRUSTING GOD!"...
No GO-BETWEEN - NO ONE ELSE IN THE PICTURE - JUST YOUR EYES ON THE LORD!!!
When the disciples proved powerless to cast out the devils from the lunatic boy, they came to Jesus and said:
"Why could we CAST HIM NOT OUT?" and Jesus said unto them,
"BECAUSE OF YOUR UNBELIEF"...
NO beating around the bush - no excuses - no looking around for reasons why - the truth was right there before them all...
UNBELIEF!!!
This must have come as some shock to them as they no doubt thought themselves to be TRUE BELIEVERS...LIKE MANY OF US DO TODAY...
The scary end to this story is this - and it sets the stage for the question each of us NEEDS to ask ourselves:
"How many PROFESSING CHRISTIANS have not TRULY BEEN CLEANSED FROM SIN BECAUSE OF THE SAME UNBELIEF and are therefore STILL IN THEIR SINS...
QUESTION - "IF LIKE THOSE IN THE STORIES ABOVE, ONE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN PHYSICAL HEALING, HOW CAN YOU BE SURE YOU HAVE BEEN HEALED FROM YOUR HIDDEN SINS?"...
QUESTION - ARE YOU IN QUIET THOUGHT RIGHT NOW! YOU SHOULD BE!!
THIS is not just a question that I am raising to you as a reader, but it is also one that I AM pressing the Lord for every day MYSELF. I have received several examples of true healing in my own life, and in the lives of my immediate family, but wonder why others are still so free to declare their belief in their salvation, but unwilling to extend the same MEASURE of FAITH to their requirements for PHYSICAL HEALING.
IN John 14:12 Jesus States: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do SHALL HE DO ALSO [WHAT??? YOU MEAN WE SHOULD BE DOING THE SAME WORKS??]; and GREATER WORKS than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
GOD does not make empty promises - and has stated in Isaiah 55:11: "So shall my word be that goeth forth OUT OF MY MOUTH: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall ACCOMPLISH that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
THAT MEANS that what HE HAS SAID - HE MEANS IT - AND IT IS THE ONLY TRUTH THAT WE SHOULD BELIEVE!
LISTEN!!!
EVEN IF NO ONE ELSE BELIEVES IT THIS WAY - YOU STEP OUT BY FAITH AND TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD!
DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE GONE TO AN EARLY GRAVE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD!!!
AND AS YOU TAKE ONE STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION - RIGHT NOW! - YOU WILL BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE SCRIPTURES MEANT BY THE WORDS:
"So then FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD OF GOD".
RIGHT NOW!!! BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD AND LIVE!!!
